I have been painting some of the word-based collages at the same size
[8X10"] as the originals to explore which ones, if any, would hold up as purely visual pieces.
I returned to oils after a few years mastering acrylics...a wonderful homecoming and an adventure.
The compositions and colors changed in ways I had not foreseen as the
paintings took on lives of their own, related to but distinct from their collages.
